FAQs
Last updated: July 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how JOGALAVIDA ("we", "us") handles information in the Squad IQ mobile application ("Squad IQ"). Squad IQ is a general-audience coaching tool for adult coaches, managers and trainers. It does not provide player or child accounts.
1. Information we collect
Account information. We collect the account holder's name, email address, authentication provider and account identifiers. At sign-in or account creation, the app asks for birth month and year solely to confirm that the person is at least 18. That check occurs on the device; we do not retain the entered month or year.
Team and roster information. An adult account holder may enter a player's full name, team membership, positions, preferred foot, optional height, country, rating and tags; match events, statistics and lineups; training attendance, grades, payment status and notes; and an optional player photo. Squad IQ does not collect a player's date of birth or age and does not need a player's contact, school, medical or safeguarding information.
Support and technical information. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message. Our hosting and authentication providers may process ordinary security and technical data such as IP address, device/browser information, timestamps and error logs to operate and protect the Service.
2. How we use information
We use information to provide authentication; store and display team records; calculate coaching statistics and reports; create exports you request; provide support; prevent abuse; maintain reliability and security; comply with law; and enforce our Terms. We do not sell personal information and do not use player data for advertising or behavioral profiling.
3. Photos and access controls
Player photos are optional and stored in a private bucket. They are not publicly readable. Squad IQ provides an expiring signed link only to an authenticated member of the same organization. Account holders should not share those links or exported photos outside an authorized team purpose.
Other roster records are protected by organization-level access controls. No security measure is perfect, so account holders should use strong credentials, limit what they enter, and report suspected unauthorized access.
4. When information is disclosed
We disclose information only:
- to service providers that host, authenticate, secure or support Squad IQ, including Supabase;
- to create an export or take another action the account holder requests;
- when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security; or
- as part of a business transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. We require them to protect information consistently with their contractual and legal obligations.
5. Players and minors
Players do not log in or submit roster data directly. Adult account holders create and manage records about people they coach, who may include minors. The account holder must have appropriate authority and provide any notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law, a club, league or other organization.
Squad IQ is not designed as a medical, school-record or child-safeguarding system. Account holders must not enter medical records, school records, home addresses, personal contact details, government identifiers, safeguarding reports or other highly sensitive information.
6. Correction, access and deletion requests
An account holder can edit or permanently delete a player in the app. A player, parent or guardian who wants a roster record corrected or removed should first contact the coach or trainer who manages it. They may also email jogalavida@gmail.com?subject=%5BSquad%20IQ%5D%20Player%20privacy%20request">jogalavida@gmail.com with the coach or team name and the requested change.
We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the requester's identity or authority. We will coordinate the request without disclosing other people's or teams' information. Depending on location, a person may also have legal rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of personal information, or object to its processing. Contact us to exercise an applicable right or appeal a response.
If we learn that a Squad IQ account is operated by someone under 18, we will disable it and delete the account information unless law requires a different response.
7. Retention
We keep account and roster information while the account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Permanently deleting a player removes the identifying roster record, private photo, notes, attendance and training records; historical match entries are retained only without identifying that player.
Account deletion is available at More › Account safety › Delete account. The account is locked immediately and permanently deleted after a seven-day cancellation period. Limited security logs or provider backups may remain for a short period where reasonably necessary for security, disaster recovery or law, after which they are deleted or overwritten under normal retention schedules.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will change the date above and provide additional notice in the app or by email when a change is material.
